Jun Wen finally completes his technical assignment today. Congrats to all those who came, Eddie, Keat Siong, Jane, Jia Hui and etc. Black belt finally.

My Bike got stolen!!!

Stolen... just go missing this evening while attending Wushu class at Zheng Hua CC. The thief was caught on CCTV, it is the CC own cleaner... OMG!!! He is a old indian man.

Anyway did not manage to get it back as the thief claim to have pass it to his friend that cannot be contacted. The CC manager claim that he promised to return it next morning if not report police... well my guts feeling is that I wont get it back in one piece. Anyway let's see.

1st SP-SAF'85 Gathering - 23rd Anniversary

After the SP 20th Anni, is this the lastest official meet. Got to see few some long lost face like Seng Kim Chwee. All are in the 40s now... and mostly "disfigured", haha.

Get together for "free" food, drink and talk about the old days. Eating Aurowana story was brought up, again ... never dying old story. Well, basically is about Michael had a mature aurowana that "over-turn" during a black-out during SP days, and some of the classmate got to get it... sick manz. Afternote : The following week, Michael appeared in the Sunday Times that features exotic fish aquarium.

Anyway, children love the pool. Especially Kai Ting who love the bathing in the swimming pool bath room, with overhead "flower" type shower. Girl will be girl. Taught JunWen to play to "placing hot chacoal in cold water". haha.

Finally, 9th Chung Do Kwan Tournament!

Very tiring event but a fruitfull one, could be tangible if can win medal... but well Life are such that it is not always just hard work then you sure got pay off.

2 days being referree is indeed an experience hard to come by too. Learn quite a bits of thing from the international referree team and an eye opener from other nation coach, sure it has put me up another level. However the "costume" is really not that good looking... haha.

The most unforgettable moment is the Australia team spirit during the competition. The coach are stern and fiece to the sports man as they would "scold/shout" at their sportsman in the field, off the field the respect remains including the support from the parents. I watch with my own eyes that parent would ask the her child who won the medal to approach the coach to hang the medal to the coach, the coach then in return present it personally to the child. A gesture that her win was the credit of the coach. My eyes wetted, it is a big contrast when I recalled at instances how local parent treated their child's coach.

I was quite surprise that Jun Wen was so enthuaistic about the destruction in the tournament. When start, he quickly rush to the crowd and sat right in front and that is unusual as most time he shy about being in front of crowd. Jun Wen, Darwin & Jarwin manage to get into the Poomsae final. In the adult categlory only Derrick manage to enter final. Darwin emerge as the only winner taking the champion title. Derrick & Jarwin miss out step... a true waste for Jarwin. JunWen although did not win but I believe he has done well since he learn Koryo less than 1 month. As a award, the medal I received for doing referree was onward to him as my recognision to his effort. As for the reasons why we lost, watch the video a few time I conclue that it is due to the "qi" missing at each stroke... and the speed of execution. Still, I think a good experience and being both our first time participation in a international event.

All got good standard there, only handful are the best and so learn from the best and try harder. Q haha!

Basically slept through whole sunday. Tire manz.

9th Chung Do Kwan tournament.

Decided to take part with son in the poomsae sectment. That entitle us to wear the Singaore flag and title on the uniform. Paid S$50 for the uniform, son no size thanks to late submission. Anyhow, Singapore Team at last!

Just got this hp from China for 300 bulks. Many function the dual sim card is draw, TV the plus but dont expect much from it.

Picts is sharp and crisp. Still toying around with it.

I am back.... wallent lighten a lot.

Things are getting real expensive in Bangkok, don't know how the local cope with such inflation.

I personally find that it is no longer a good shopping haven no more, except may be for services like massages and hair do.

Last night, the no. 2nd tire of my aloea bike "blow" and yes again. The stock tube like dont last... shit manz. Cheap thing are like that... now headache. Trouble is that there is no near by bike shop at Bukit Panjang.... the one and only close down already many months back. May be got to ask colleague help again. Well see how la after the Bangkok trip.

Today I have come back to Hong Kong to stand before you and account for myself.
I have never escaped from my responsibility
During the past few weeks, I have been with my mother and my family and my loved ones.
To show support and care and at the same time to have them support and care for me.

I admit that most of the photos being circulated on the internet were taken by me but these photos were very private and have not been shown to people and were never intended to be shown to anyone.

These photos were stolen from me illegally and distributed without my consent. There is no doubt whoever obtained these photos have them uploaded on the Internet with malicious and deliberate intent.

This matter has deteriorated to the extent that society as a whole has been affected by this.
And in this regard, I am deeply saddened. I would like now to apologize to all the people for all the suffering that has been caused and the problems that have arisen from this.

I would like to apologize to all the ladies and to all their families for any harm or hurt that they have been feeling. I am sorry. I would like to also apologize to my mother and my father for the pain and suffering I have caused them during the past few weeks. Most importantly, I would like to say sorry to all the people of Hong Kong I give my apology sincerely to you all, unreservedly and with my heart. I know young people in Hong Kong look up to many figures in our society And in this regard, I have failed. I failed as a role model. However, I wish this matter will teach everyone a lesson. To all the young people in our community let his be a lesson for you all.

During my time away, I have made an important decision I will whole-heartedly fulfill all commitments that I have to date. But after that, I decided to step away form the Hong Kong entertainment industry. I have decided too do this to give myself an opportunity to heal myself and to search my soul. I will dedicate my time to charity and community work within the next few months. I will be away form Hong Kong entertainment indefinitely. There is no time frame.

I have been assisting the police since the first day the photos were published and I will continue to assist them. after this press con. I have obligation to help them with their investigation and hope that this case can end soon. as everyone I think has the same wish. I would like to use this opportunity to thank the police for their hard work on this case…. thank you. I believe everyone’s priority now my priority now is to stop the suffering and pain for not letting this… we do not want to let this situation become more out of control . We need to protect all the innocents and all the young from matters like this. In this regards, i have instructed my lawyers to do everything possible within the law to protect all the innocents’ victims of this case. I believe that a press statement is being issued as we speak on what my lawyers have advised me to do. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone for coming here today and listening to what I have to say. I would like to also apologize once again to all the ladies and their families my family and to everyone in Hong Kong and everyone in our society. I am deeply saddened by this and I apologize to everyone (who) has gone through this

I would like to also thank you for giving me this opportunity to say what I have wanted to say all along in my heart . I hope, after today, I can have your forgiveness with regard to this case with everything, everything that has happened. I am deeply sorry

Wow heavy rain and was out to customer place but CMI as got into a little accident. Car tire go into longkang. No picture to show, manage to get it out by use of Car jack and a metal plate from some resident advise and thanks to some Victoria's Sec boys. Thanks manz. So sorry could not thank you all in person on the spot. I strain my back during the process and now my back hurt so bad.
Seem like the day has not been kind to me, because after the accident, kana a unreasonable carpark attendance at the K Plaza and while existing the MSCP, nearly bang by a speeding van ... shitz.! I am very sure that I've check before I turned out slowly, he definitely driving super fast... why must bad thing happen in a row... guess may be that is when you start losing focus and S.A. not that sharp.
Keep the cool, stay calm, today is my Birthday still got half a day family waiting at hom, don't sploit it further for them.

Today my birthday... HAPPY BIRD DAY to me!!!

Still got to work today manz.. sianz. My advise for being 40s is avoid mental dead. It will be like the dead fish in the wet market ... look and claim to be fresh but in act fact is already dead, so how can be fresh? But life is such that you need to have lots of Ah-Q spirit to go-on.

66th STKDG Centralised Grading

On the 2 March 2008, Jun Wen went for his 1st poom and me for my technical assignment & collect referre cert. Siew Ting took a lift on my ride and we arrive at Geylang West CC about 9.15 am. Darren, Dawin & Jawin also there too for their technical assignment + cert collection.
Upon reaching, I started to sense nervous attack slowly surfaced for no obvious reason, I mean why should I? I am not taking any test... then I realise I'm nervous for Jun Wen. At the instance I tried to convince myself that I shouldn't be too worry as I has been coaching him for months already ie. do poomsae and punching bag practive everyday, however, he got one weakness that was not trained i.e. his soft spot in pain.
You see, once a kid start weeping during sparring he lost focus and that is dangerous as he might get K.O. by the opponent. As a referre you might want to consider stopping the match for safety reason.
I too can sense he is nervous too, even though he said he is 'OK'. I decided to go through with him the poomsae 8, 5 and 3. Not long all the testees fall in for warm up session and then breifing by the tester.

Soon his group was up for poomsae display. Being the first and with a small crowd of testees, examiner tend to more stringent and critics about everything. The group did Taegeuk 8 x 2 times, Taegeuk 5 x 2 times (1 boy did 4 times) and Taegeuk 1 time (1 boy did 2 times). For Junwen poomsae is easy, was a bit nervous at the start (miss out a step) but the rest he did it like normal practice, good job!

Next test will be sparring, 1st round Junwen verus a girl who is much taller. She is quick and kick non-stop. Jun Wen did good and also he is confidence, may be from the bag kicking training or may be also most boys at his age dislike girl. He got better skill and tactic that he manage to stop her advance several time.
2nd round is his best match where he is against a boy of his age, height & size. see video, his position is on the left.

The third round is against a India boy from VS TKD, who is slightly taller. This is going to be a tough round for Junwen as his fatigue is showing. My worst worry happen when he start tearing when both their in-step crash hard in mid of kicks exchange but I manage to subpress his emotion, well guess I did the right thing by volunteering as the referre.

Then the last phase of the test - Destruction. Only for senior poom and above. Junior poom become helper. Too bad if not it will be fun for Jun Wen him b'cos back-thrust for him is chicken feet.
Event end about 12.35 pm and on our way home, he agreed with me that by not crying, it completes this event in a positive manner.
Pew... a stone off my chest, a father chest.
